Where can I download a free and good software for subtitling?


Hi everyone,
I want to start working with a company in UK in subtitling and since I live in Iran , there is no software in market to purchase,so please introduce me some sites which have free software for downloading and they have released recently a sotware for subtitleing.

    i am also from Iran.you can get mozilla firefox from mozilla.com. it has a download manager and it is free with many add-ons to working better and it is better.
