    Build it yourself, prebuilt computers suck, that goes for PC AND Mac.

    Exactly what Red said. If you want the best on the market, go with the popular names like alienware, dell XPS, etc. But huge warning, you’re paying $1500 for a $900 computer if you do that.

    For the same price as the best prebuilt computer, you can have pretty much the BEST of everything in there.

    Building them is a lot of matching colors and shapes, the stuff we’ve been doing since we were 2. If you need help, you probably know someone that can do it, or you can just bring all the parts to bestbuy and have them build it. They do charge a pretty high price for it, but its worth it if you dont know how.

    I’d start with a nice Intel Q9650, stuck on a EVGA FTW board, in a Lian Li case. HT Omega Claro HALO+ sound, Behringer MS-40 speakers, twin Zotac 8800GTs, 8Gb RAM. DVD Combo, Blu-Ray Burner, SIX WD 640Gb HDDs, with 4 external Calvary 1Tb USB HDDs. PCPC 1200W PSU, Nice fan setup and some more stuff that I could mention.
