I have a Sony HC96 MiniDV Camcorder. When I try copying the movie using the default USB cable, it gives 4GB image size for a 10 min movie. I can’t even imagine copying a 60 min cassette. Is there any free software utility available to shrink this video size? I tried a couple of them but they shrink too much (almost 200%) and the quality is gone.
I even called Sony support guys and they suggest me to buy some expensive software out in the market. I already spent a grand getting this expensive camcorder and in no way in a mood to spend a dime on this any more.
Appreciate any input in this regard. Thanks.
Don’t tell me eBay or the Flea Market I want to know places online that specialize in older hardware and software. I want to build or buy a PC that can play some of my favorite older games.
First of all, Harry, I’m not e-mailing you. Why wouldn’t you just name the places in your ANSWER that’s what this feature is here for! And ELfaGeek, do you honestly think I never thought to ask people? Rio, How will you know when your periods are (with reasonable accuracy) in May 2008 with a day planner, unless you calculate the dates?
I dont think people with the greatest power to guesstimate can guesstimate when to expect periods (with reasonable accuracy) when a vacation / party is planned four months ahead unless they calculate.

I was incorrectly impressed by the device until I stumbled upon the fine prints.
One fine day, the company disabled my connection (after 3 months of service). They have the worst customer service I have seen. I chatted on their website with multiple reps, and finally they told me the only way to get help is to call a particular phone number. And as expected, there is no one there to pick up. About a weeks of trying, I got hold of someone and he bluntly told me that I have excessively used it. I asked what it is supposed to be unlimited talk. He DENIED and referred me to clause 6 of TOS. I asked how do you define “execessive”, he did not answer. I have used couple hours a day for 3 months and they think it is EXCESSIVE. They are not ready to enable my connection, but now asking me to pay 1cent/min (!!!). This is insane and a BIG TRAP!

They advertise it as unlimited plan, but TOS has mention about excessive use. This are mutually exclusive terms and they are cheating on people.
I have a very sophisticated website doing a business process and already have 5 large customers using the website after paying. But due to expensive software development cost I have no money to market the product. Suggest me what should I do and give me some ideas.

I don’t use online translators on principle, especially for French and German because the grammar is always a little strange and you don’t always get the correct meaning across I have found!!! (Lost in translation… literally). I studied sites such as

though I am still trying to find one which gives generally accurate results. Any suggestions?
(A good way to check the accuracy of a translator is to type a message, translate it to another language and translate it back to language).
On the contrary, does anyone knoe of any software on the market which is capable of accuratly translating European languages (preferably German/French though you can get alot of variation depending on which part of the world the langauge comes from)

I am currently attending a online university for software development. I have been searching for an internship in my area to help me gain experience. In my search, I have found that a few companies want interns to have attended a program accredited by the ABET. I have been getting mixed answers regarding whether or not ABET accreditation is mandatory for most jobs in software engineering. I live in the Huntsville, Alabama area and there is a very brisk IT market here. I would like to know if I should transfer to a program that has ABET accreditation or continue where I am. I also learned that this type of accreditation is relatively new and most software engineers did not get an education accredited by the ABET.
