it’s my first mac, their usage is growing.. and i don’t want to take chances with viruses because this MacBook Pro i have is going to be really valuable to me.
so whats the best FREE firewall out on the market right now?
and i know some of you may think free does not equal good quality, but from my past experience with PC, the free soft ware 90% of the time performed better then most payed for stuff. the exception being design software..
i thought they might.. but i cant find it even with the link you posted. the words firewall are not present, and i have OSX1.5. (this is my first mac) i know they have few viruses.. but that’s mainly because coders aren’t going to waste their time creating viruses for 8% of the market lol.
but also, its usually the factory firewalls that get bypassed first. but a good third party firewall from places like ZoneAlarm will block the nastiest of bugs.. lol
just checked lavasoft.. the only free thing they have s a 30day trial :/

My laptop has been attacked by a malicious software antispyware master. I have tried everything to remove it. I googled and search for the removal instructions and tried the manual removal instructions ( deleting the files, killing the processses and deleting the registry) but nothing helped. I even ran windows defender and super antispyware software but nothing helped.
1 more question I have is : is superantispyware and antispyware master related?
any info is helpful. If you are recommending any removal tool , pls tell only free relaible tools avaialble in the market ( that doesn’t ask for money when trying to quarantine).

There are so many computer viruses that gives us troubles while we are using our computer or using any IT products. Everyday there are so many new viruses that discovered. Do you think they are just created by people who wants to make money by selling their anti-virus softwares. Don’t you wonder how they know the solutions/cures to those viruses if they don’t have knowledge on how the viruses works and the destructions it may create.
I have Norton, but I am getting a refund because it takes up to much memory, is always running a scan in the background, takes up too much RAM and CPU. I think Norton uses it’s product as a marketing tool to push sales as much as it repels viruses

Actually i purchased cds from market but these software are pirated or illegal copy, in downloads.com after installing software(antivirus and spyware) it requires updation or registration, but my system is affected by harm trojens and viruses, so please recommend a web site from where i can download a good antivirus or spyremover.
Anybody knows what is the best anti viruses program in the market?
I´d like to buy a new software but in the past i used McAfee and Norton also I think that was good but to heavy for my lap.
Actually have been using a free software of my access internet provider but, I feel that it´s not enough.
Please some body advise me with this issue.
