Microsoft and Apple have always been competing. Apple is clearly the best in software and hardware. However, Apple’s problem is that Macs are often more expensive than many Windows machines. Microsoft’s huge advantage is that they have hundreds of PC, smartphone, and PlaysForSure makers and partners. To be able to build a computer yourself and have it run XP is another large advantage. On top of that, since many schools see the majority of the world run Windows, they too use XP and the like. Apple is great, and so is OSX, but Windows so greatly outnumbers Apple that Apple is really not really neck and neck with Windows. My question is, who should Apple partner with to make their computers cheaper, more available, and a viable opponent for Windows?

My project is to take our company’s top 200 independent software vendor applications- and for each application- find out what the pricing model is for EACH processor technology (5 different types of chips) and virtualization technology (e.g. containers/logical domains). I have no tech background so I’m quite intimidated and the info is pretty detailed so u cant google it and the co. doesnt have info in their internal system (im the 1st one doing this for them). Any suggestions where I can get some fundamental knowledge in this arena (tech + the specific project) to gain confidence, do well, and increase my chances of getting hired as a regular employee? Thx a lot.

In the computer world I have no exp., but want to start right away. And I don’t know what I really want to get into, Software Engineering or Network Management, so I’m studying all that I can. Also I’m broke, so I’m doing it all on free websites. My goal is to get knowledge enough to get certifications with A+, Network+, CCNA, then maybe MCSE, and then some knowledge of Java and C/C++. I already know HTML, and I’ve studied a lot of computer repair to know enough, I think though I’m still studying it. and I started with visual basic to get a little bit of range going instead of freezeing on one thing. Oh yeah, and the job market isn’t that great where I’m at so getting an extra part time computer job is kinda hard around here. And I kinda have a wife and 2 kids so if I’m not at work, or studying, I’m with them, so I’m a little full. Any suggestions if I’m doing the right thing? What can I do better? Any Certs that might throw me a better direction.

3.) Organizations that can use off-the-shelf, industry-standard copmuter software may reduce their support costs because support services and products are widely available for best-selling products.

I think the offer letter has been sent and I am a little scared since the products include Software, Operating Systems, Application Development, Storage, Servers, Desktops, Consulting IT Services, System Options, Network Security Products, etc. etc. all of which I only know enough to get by as your average computer user.
Any tips on how to attain the most amount of knowledge as fast as possible? Like a cliffnotes type thing for the tech world? Thanks a million!

a person who is illitrate for computer and do not have the knowledge of that,like our old generation who is not working with the computer…and if they want to learn computer how can they? and if u can see its not easy to learn everything in computer…as if u learn and spent ur time on that course and when we complete it there may be one another software is working in market and which one we learn it is out of demand…and one thing is that how can that person use the computer as like experts can do it easily…like if u going for some search then u will find so many sites for ur answer …at that time experts can find what they r looking for very easily but at that time normal person is facing the problem that which one is the answer for their question ?and have to read all the website….may u can understand what is my prb ? so pls give me the proper answer….

I was doing some market reaserch recently and inorder to lower noice in the lab the woman activiated some computer softwear that took in sound through the mic and then emited a sound of the exact opposite frequency to quieten it. Does anyone know the name of such softwear or a place/ website I could get it? Thanks

is there a market for mobile website developers, especially with so much software available to develop websites in a flash. what could be the benefits of learning how to develop a mobile website?
