The programmers don’t want to be told what to do and can’t deal with any changes to the specs they develop — the sales guys are not getting software they feel is competitive but are also fragmented in how they provide info to the tech team on desired functionality — both sides speak different languages and it is the ever-present battle of trying to get them to work together…. any advice from personal experience is much appreciated. I am writing a marketing plan for class based on an on-demand software offering (think Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Basecamp). How much is the market worth? How fast is it growing? How many consumers or small businesses are involved? etc…

I need to find an accounting program to track expenses, etc. but also would like to find an all-inclusive program that has a bill-pay feature (like online bill pay that banks offer). Is there anything like this on the market?

Can ordinary people with extensive knowledge in the Accounting Softwares (e.g. QuickBooks Pro and MYOB) available in the market replace the Certified Public Accountants in their normal day to day accounting (e.g. Bookkeeping) jobs?

I’m looking to rent/lease/buy poker software. Here’s the plan:

I’d like to be able to have a poker network supply me with the tables.

I’ll have my own online website, will do the marketing, bring customers in and the company that supplies the software charges me a percentage of the rake.

My profit would be the leftover rake after the company’s deducted their profit. Since I’m only an affiliate, or a skin for this network, I’d assume they charge no money down, only the rake percentage as it is Poker (player vs. player, not house money as in a Casino) so there’s no risk for the company. Does anybody know of anyone that can offer me this ?
