I am a 20 year old college student i have been trying to learn the foreign exchange market for almost a year now. I have taken online classes through my broker also read a couple of books. I have also tried software. There is something that i am missing, i have tried all types of formulas in determing trades and i am never right. It seems as if I can make money on the practice account, but i lose money on my real account. It seems as if the market trades against me everytime. Can someone please help?

Out of pure curiosity regarding technical and legal aspects (I’m aware of the financial risks), is it legal to run an automated trading software that deals for you, using some kind of pseudo-AI?
If it is legal, how can one connect such software to the stock market? I’m guessing going through normal websites would not be suitable in terms of latency/costs, not to mention technically inefficient. Does one require special accreditations/permits to do so? How can one get them?

Currently I am in the process of establishment so I want to minimize my costs. I do not have exact idea about the rules so I request the person who knows about it. I am not in position to pay heavy costs for Commodity Futures Market Data. I want to feed it into my database manually and then develop a technical analysis software that will take End of Day Data from my database. I want to make available that application/technical analysis software to general public free of cost.
Anybody knows that can I establish my own database like this and then make it available to general public for use for free?
That Java application will be emeded into my web site and SQL Sever will act as the backend tool to keep the full data.

Im here at Canada. Im wondering if there’s any free softwares that I can use to watch the TSX stock market, or I can even trade on it, which will be even better.
Im a finance student learning stocks in my spare time. Anybody can help me? And give the link to that free software? thanks.

I am looking into models primarily for trading ETF’s for the short term gain, and long term portfolio development. I want to develop a balanced portfolio for the long-term. I need to build up cash to help me get there. Any suggestions on what free market timing software programs there might be out there worth using?
