it’s my first mac, their usage is growing.. and i don’t want to take chances with viruses because this MacBook Pro i have is going to be really valuable to me.

so whats the best FREE firewall out on the market right now?

and i know some of you may think free does not equal good quality, but from my past experience with PC, the free soft ware 90% of the time performed better then most payed for stuff. the exception being design software..
i thought they might.. but i cant find it even with the link you posted. the words firewall are not present, and i have OSX1.5. (this is my first mac) i know they have few viruses.. but that’s mainly because coders aren’t going to waste their time creating viruses for 8% of the market lol.

but also, its usually the factory firewalls that get bypassed first. but a good third party firewall from places like ZoneAlarm will block the nastiest of bugs.. lol
just checked lavasoft.. the only free thing they have s a 30day trial :/

They said I couldnt do it so I did it to prove them wrong!! With no programming Knowledge JUST BOOKS. I **** WHEN THEY SAY I CAN’T DO SOMETHING!! I wrote a software program to sell. Nobody thinks I can pull it off. Because I am a simple housewife mother. I’LL SHOW THEM! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! I am working on strategies for a while now. I havn’t launched the product because all aspects have not been covered. I am trying to put together a team together to help me. I will profit share for your time.
